Avery Scherer

As an aquatic ecologist, I study how species interact in freshwater and ocean systems.  In particular, my research investigates the effects of predators on prey species and how these effects can cascade throughout food webs to impact the structure and function of aquatic communities.  I am also passionate about science communication and sharing my research with the public.  Explore my site to learn more about my research projects and outreach activities.
